Cheap plastic parts and inadequate brackets

The brackets themselves are quite strong. I tried using the anchors provided but realized I needed something stronger and more secure. The plastic covers covering the metal part on the wall arrived already broken but I don't think I'll see them most of the time. Time with speaker installed so I did not issue a refund.

Pros

Cons
  • Minor issues

Reliable closures at a great price!

These are without a doubt the best speaker mounts I have ever bought. They are made of durable, thick metal, as are the fasteners for their attachment. I have complete faith in the bolt attachment and even the drywall mount seems pretty solid. The ability to really twist and tilt the 15-pound column is incredible, as is the strength of the handles. Couldn't be happier with it!

Not great at all. on brackets

The head of the mounting bolt broke even though I pre-drilled holes in the bolts. I had to buy another screw. I didn't trust my speakers by tilting them down. There is no panel on the front so they don't fall out somehow. If you don't mount your speakers without tilting them down I would stay away unless you want to take the risk of swapping out the speakers. I've seen others for 60 from another company. Should have just bought them from the start.

Good and solid brackets

I bought these because I was rearranging my living room and couldn't hang the rear speakers like I used to. Not only do they support the weight of my speakers, but the ability to rotate speakers that are already attached really saves lives. In general, installing wall mounts is fairly easy. The instructions don't specify exactly what type of drill bit you need to drill holes in the wall for the anchor, but Rockville has a YouTube video of the installation process that will fill you in on this…

High Quality - Great Looks

I bought these brackets to install some KRK powered speakers in a museum for an art exhibition. I was impressed with the quality. You definitely got the job done. My only suggestion for improving the product might be to create a small "ridge" along the front edge of the clamps so there is a little more support when the speaker is tilted down. Also maybe a nip point for a safety line but then again I've used them in a professional setup set at about 15ft while most people would buy them for home

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • No Performance

The only problem is that the mounting screws were too thin and the dowels were too thick. I used the anchors I had. Don't "worry" about getting them. It is also 2 weeks to arrive. no tracking number provided. I took my time. Items are well packed. without damage . Excellent workmanship and design. I recommend a pair of Rockville RHSB8 wall mounts. Durable, aesthetic, optimal function. I really liked them and the Rockville speakers. I ordered a set each for my sister-in-law and my son!

  • Pretty packaging

Screws fall right out of drywall anchors

They don't hold 5 lbs. I followed the directions and used a 3/8 bit to drill a hole for the drywall anchor. The anchor definitely sits in my wall, but the screws that come with it are too small and come out easily. Now I've made a huge mess in my wall because the screws included in the kit are too small and easily pull out of the drywall anchors. In the end I found conveniently placed rivets and it worked. Maybe make sure you have bolts that work before you start drilling. Ignore the…

Fantastic mount, goes with everything. Bhut needs better screws

I needed a solid wall mount that would support the tilt and weight I needed (13 pounds in my case). power connection. The supplied M5 screws are too short (for my safe feeling). So I bought some screws that were twice as long to make sure the screw stays screwed in. If you're buying replacement M5 screws for S15, don't buy them. with a broader head. The ones that come with the kit need pressure to press in! I'm sure the speakers won't sag as the tilt up/down has step settings that really click…

Drywall installations may require heavier anchors

I used these to wall mount bookshelf speakers. The anchors provided with the mounts have a hefty feel and require a 5/16 hold to install. But at the weight of the Klipsch R-51M speakers (5.5kg) I found that the top anchorage started popping out of the wall as soon as I installed the speaker in the bracket. I went to the workshop and found a larger diameter screw and that helped a bit but I'm still not sure if it will stay on the wall for long. I recommend finding better quality anchors if you…

Lame screws and bad speaker mount

I'll start with the design of the mounts - not bad to be honest. With it mounted on a stud I can put a ton of weight on it and nothing bends. This is the only plus of this whole setup. Everything else is a total failure. The screws that come with it are junk. Despite pre-drilling and silicone spray to lubricate the bolt, it still snapped into the wall. Complete garbage. The seller did not help - only offered to exchange for a new set. Why the hell would I get another set of crappy hardware and…
