I use this in my toddler class as extra protection against closing the door with my pinky. It is very durable and stays in place. I like that it's easy to hang on the included hook so I don't have to search for it. Good product.

I tried the pool noodle hack and it didn't work as well as this one. They also come with small hooks that you can attach anywhere to take them down and hang them up when not in use. Edited to add that this doesn't prevent fingers from being pinched on the other side of the door where the hinges are.

These guards were just what I was looking for to keep my little one from getting her fingers caught in doors! They are very easy to turn on and off. The material feels strong and sturdy and has a nice, not too light color. I would recommend hanging them higher where little hands can't reach or adjust them. House! It's nice to have a hook that attaches to the wall so you can hang the door nearby if you want to close it completely. The pinch guard has a handle that grips the side of the door but can be easily removed when not in use. This does a great job of keeping the door closed on our kids fingers or other parts that get in the way. Recommend them for every parental control installation.
