I ordered a size L for my 8 year old, I think I'll need a little more to last a while. It fits very well with a little more room, I thought it would be more (maybe even the sleeve cuffs need to be rolled up). I ordered the same jacket but with a different print for his older brother (separate review) and he is the same (he is 10 and ordered XL). Also, the color is bright and true to the picture.
