📺 Roku Streaming Stick - 3600RW (2016 model): The Ultimate Streaming Experience Review

I ordered this streaming device on October 4th, 2018 and it stopped working in less than two months. I swapped out various parts and narrowed the problem down to the transmitter unit and found that it was defective. Needless to say I am disappointed.

We have a cable TV service that charges for renting individual boxes on each TV. We have seven (7) televisions in our home and the monthly rent was obscene. We have to keep one box for the TV service, but all the others have been replaced with Roku, saving us a ton of monthly rental costs.

Product works great but check how much space you have on the HDMI output before ordering. The wand is very long and you need to glue a string to it, so it takes up quite a bit of space. Mine barely fit. You need at least 5 inches away from the HDMI port.

The quality of the picture is excellent, nothing complicated had to be done, just connected to the bedroom TV and Viola! Very happy with my purchase. The only downside is that Roku can only be used in one room at a time. Either living room or bedroom. You should consider this if you want to stream your Roku to multiple TVs. This is not possible with a flash drive. I'm not sure if this applies to the box.

I bought this Roku Streaming Stick to replace Amazon Firestick which never worked properly on AcornTV. The AcornTV service froze, buffered and closed despite everything I tried with wireless. but the radio signal was strong and fast. Roku has no problem. not only that, but the interface with AcornTV (and other services) is much better than Firesticks. Buy it. You will not regret it.
