Total Waste. Avoid This Cable.

This cable is a COMPLETE joke. It barely lasted a week before it became completely unresponsive. Although it's cheap, you`d be far better off spending a little extra on something that is actually worth the money. The only pro is that it fits the standard size but that's not enough to make this a worthwhile purchase. Unfortunately, this is par for the course with many computer accessories that are cheaply made and unreliable..

Pros
  • Compatible with Roland's large format printer series
Cons
  • Only compatible with specific Roland printer models

A replacement that works great

Solved our Roland's problem of not being able to find the left edge of the sheet/roll. One thing to note: Roland uses a set of tiny black plastic pop rivets that need to be replaced along with the cable. It would be great to have a US source selling 20 of these. Roland has them but shipping takes 3 weeks and costs more than the cable they hold. (Arrgh!)

Pros
  • Printer parts and supplies
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
