My husband persuaded me to buy this. I wanted one for Sam's office, my very first miniature; but i thought it was a lot of $$. I love it. Comes with wooden base, simple serrated design, no glue to assemble. Super light protective film. In time, Sam's studies will be very enjoyable.

Sometimes you get a stubborn set that takes a little more effort to snap together, but even then they're easy to put together. Personally, I remove the protective film on one side and mount with the removed film facing in. After complete assembly I remove the film from the outside. That's why I minimize the risk of scratches and fingerprints.

This is a quality case for my miniature room set of the same brand. The lid was easy to assemble and the plexiglass pieces fit together with dovetail joints. Once assembled, the box fits easily into the wooden base, making it easy to display and completely dustproof. The suitcase adds a bit of size to the item with a base wider than the base of the room, but it's worth it. I couldn't be happier.

I really like Robotime products and the packaging was beautiful, it was a shame that two items looked like someone had taken a box cutter and cut up the plastic. While this made it easier to peel off the plastic, there were two cuts on the product itself.
