I have medium hair and have been using these rollers for years with GREAT results, but my hair is longer so I need a bigger roller. My first (and last) time using them was with an easy and smooth twist and using clamps as others have suggested to hold the reels in place. So far, so good. When my hair was dry it was almost impossible to remove the curlers from my hair. This product was amazing! I bought them because my daughter's hair is so long. It was the perfect size for her hair and the velcro held up well although I used 1 bobby pin on the curler to hold it in place. I give this 5 stars. Definitely recommend!

These curlers are perfect and easy to use. I have a very good one that straightens out fairly quickly without a lot of hairspray. It's great! First time using rollers and was shocked at how easy they are to use. Make sure you have clips or rivets to hold them in place. It doesn't come with clips. The results were great but I didn't use any product or hairspray so the hairdo didn't last long (no fault of the curlers, just wanted to test them out).
