I have a 2014 club car, it was already connected to the terminals and space was allocated for it. I just cut out the spot and connected the clamps. Very easy installation.

I used to put the meter on a 48 volt Yamaha car and it worked. Then I bought two more for my other carts and none of them work, don't know what the problem is, sending it back.

Instructions for connecting to batteries. Then connect c to the key switch and then turn on the key. When I turned the key, smoke came out. I have a club car. The key switch is 48 volts. The only thing I could understand. Does the switch need 12 volts? The instructions don't say that! So check the power supply of the switch before trying!
