I've only had them a few months and the paint is already peeling. They were very pretty when I bought them a few months ago but now the paint is peeling and not as pretty. These are good mixing bowls, lightweight if you don't mind ugly cleaning bowls.

I love the colors of these bowls which are exactly like the picture. They are strong but light. Best of all, they come with tight-fitting lids. So if the recipe says "cover with plastic wrap," I can just take out my bowl and lid. Disposable polyethylene film without a lid ends up in our oceans and on land.

The bowls are great and go well with my 1950s kitchen. I love the colors and they are quickly becoming the most used bowls in the house. I will probably buy another set. When baking, it's very handy to have measurements in the trays. They also make perfect popcorn bowls. These are lightweight stainless steel bowls so adjust your expectations accordingly. I am very happy with my purchase.

I will update this review in a few months but my first impressions of the product straight out of the box were a bit disappointing as there are a few tiny spots where the paint(?) is missing . I'm ashamed to admit that reading the bad reviews I'm still hoping they don't peel off like the bowls of other reviewers did. I won't stack them on top of each other, put them in the dishwasher, or submerge them in water, so I might be lucky. They were the right size and color, so I really wanted them…

This is a great alternative to glass, which can be too heavy for some elderly people to store food. Glass naturally preserves food because it does not flow (unlike plastic). This stainless steel is a good alternative to glass and is also easy to clean. Although I still prefer stainless steel glass, this was a great choice for my 84 year old mother who has a harder time carrying heavy objects. The measurements shown in the bowls are also useful for judging portions.
