I like that the cap fits easily in the frame. I'm sure the frame won't last forever but it seems well made. I've only used them twice but be sure to use a stain remover and the hat should come out nice. I left them in the block until they dried out and no more shrinkage occurred.

BUT THE HAT CAGE IS SO BIG THAT YOU HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET A REGULAR CAGED BASEBALL CAP. AFTER 3 USES THE CAGE BROKEN IN 2 PLACES. THIS IS ONLY A STRONG AND DURABLE PRODUCT.

Easy to use although taking it apart and putting it back together can be a bit tricky. I have used and purchased a similar item before and it exceeded my low expectations that the previous item had. Exceeded my cleaning expectations - a white hat I thought was ruined looks brand new. A warning, only one fits on the top shelf. my dishwasher, so my hat at once. And don't forget to turn off the drying cycle of the dishwasher.

I think these ball cap buddies are a great invention! If the hat is very dirty, especially the inside, either pre-treat the inside with a stain stick and leave overnight before washing in the dishwasher, OR pre-clean with liquid soap or detergent, warm water and an old toothbrush cap first. Then place it in one of the lid compartments and place it in an empty dishwasher (no dishes). Use dish soap (I use the Cascade capsule). My dishwasher can wash 2 in the top basket and 2 in the bottom basket.
