Great adapter for the price!

I bought this adapter with the intention of using my own antenna (High Gain Yagi) to connect WiFi to the workshop computer. Installation was very easy on Windows 7 64-bit and did the job perfectly. My old Linksys adapter put out 1 lane with the same antenna, but this adapter put out 3 and sometimes 4 lanes. I tried the antenna that came with the unit and it came with only one band, but my WAP is over 180ft from the shop and through 2 walls! This scenario could be repeated with slightly betterโ€ฆ

I like that the card can be 5 stars

Works very well, has a very good range when receiving a wireless signal, I like the function of notifying you of the signal strength along with the speed of the connection speed. The only thing I would like to see is a longer cable from the card to the base of the antenna. It is also better to control the fit by the distance between the protrusion inserted into the slot on the board and the case opening plate. I had to make a slight adjustment to keep the card flush with the slot and theโ€ฆ

I used to have both desktops connected to .

My two desktop computers used to be connected to the router with a CAT-5 cable, so when I moved I put them in different rooms. This allowed me to connect a second desktop to my wireless router, saving me the trouble of running cables through walls.

  • Nice design
Cons
  • Nothing here

Roseville who know how to make a wireless card!

This card is cheap but effective This card may fool you, but this little guy gets the job done I recommend using this card in Windows 7 as Windows XP will automatically turn itself off from time to time will, but after Windows 7 it always behaves.

  • Great for outdoor activities

It was an easy and cheap replacement

Bought to replace an old USB adapter that kept losing connection. It was an easy and cheap replacement. Note. I've had some issues with the driver on the disc used with Windows 8.1, although I've seen other reviews saying otherwise. I uninstalled that driver and let Windows install a generic version for it, which worked for me.

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Works well for computers and accessories

Look, I'm not going to say this is the best WIFI PCI card available. What I want to say is that it works for its intended purpose. I installed this on WIN XP-PRO. The range isn't fantastic and it's not bad. I'd say using this in a fairly average sized home, for example, gives you enough coverage to surf the web with little to no issues. The antenna does its job well. I tried using it without the antenna connected and it didn't work. Make sure that the antenna is screwed in well on the backโ€ฆ

For the price, this is excellent. Too bad it was amazing.

Installed on my computer because I moved it away from my network outlets (the house has ethernet). Installation was easy considering the price and the software is a bit over the top, but it works. Reception isn't as good as my laptop (laptop measures 80% signal strength at the same spot vs 29 on the Rosewill map) but it works. . My kids can play games and stream shows, and I can surf the web occasionally. That's great. I can't stream data-heavy HD shows, but I have other devices for that. Ifโ€ฆ
