Enhance Performance with Artraise Rotator Lift-Away Replacement Filters Review

I asked about these filters after reading a review I have on the Shark NV 502 fittings. The reviewer said they don't fit and are noisy. Well I just received mine and they are the same size as my shark. They fit well and no more noise than my vacuum used to make.

I kinda knew the answer to the above question but since I don't use a household vacuum very often (I usually use a shop vacuum) I never thought of replacing filters with a house vacuum then I did used it for the first time in a long time and noticed that the suction power is less than it should be. Anyway, I figured out the problem with the filter. Thanks to these easily replaceable and inexpensive filters, our vacuum cleaner works like new again.

The Shark these filters come with picks up the finest of dogs and dog hair so thoroughly that it only takes a little soap and water to clean the filter between shots. Then I have a web filter. Instead, I can do all the cleaning by changing the filters and letting the cleaned ones air dry. You can also replace HEPA, which of course is not always done. As you can imagine I am very proud of my Shark vacuum cleaner. Whoo.

This filter filters much better than the original equipment. This is a thinner thickness. It fits so snugly in the plastic filter holder that it takes some effort to attach. I take it off and wash it after vacuuming it a few times, it washes easily. Soap is washed out much easier than a native filter. I note that the 2nd filter that fits under the plastic filter holder is also included. This filter does not get dirty because the filter above does a great job of filtering.

The outer diameter of the foam cylinder filter is smaller than the original filter. This shouldn't be a problem as the airflow is still completely blocked, but it probably means the filter will become dirty faster. around it shouldn't be a problem. Snapping the lid into place also required some effort. Not sure if it's because the old rubber seal wears/compresses over time compared to the new one. I'll try to update this with a long term report after some time of use.

I have a Shark Rotator Professional Lift-Away (NV501) and these replacement filters work fine. As you can see from these photos, I couldn't clean the filters with just water (which is what the manufacturer recommends) and wanted a replacement when the original Shark filters dried out.
