Not warm. Delays sweat.

I really regret this purchase. First, they are not warm enough. I worked outside with the crew while it was snowing lightly and my hands were freezing, laying several lengths of heavy gauge wire. it hurt so bad I could hardly work. And it was only about 25-30 degrees outside with wind, nothing special. But just as bad is this glove's ability to trap sweat inside. Lots of work and your sweat just creates that wet sponge inside. which can evaporate in a day or more! No, even the old heating pad…

Warm. - Motorbike & Powersports

Read some reviews before ordering. I usually wear Large (the length of the finger is longer than the width of the hand) so I ordered XL. My pair arrived, width was perfect, fingers were too long (at least an inch). I work in commercial fridges and freezers (temps 41-32 and 0-20 respectively). Gloves warmed my hands initially (in the freezer). Because my fingers were too long, I lost a lot of dexterity and had to take off my gloves. Eventually my middle between my little fingers went numb from…

Warm and dry.: Motorcycling & Powersports

Despite ordering an oversized pair I think they fit perfectly. I work in formation on military planes and they were more than warm enough, plus my hands didn't get wet in the rain. The valve at the bottom doesn't seem right to some people, but I've found that with the valve at the bottom, it holds the most or most water in heavy rain. I like the design. I returned the large gloves and ordered a pair that was the correct size. Too many people are critical of things that don't matter. I don't use

keep my hands warm; useless for work.

I bought these based on the good reviews for warmth and waterproofing. Both have worked well. But I don't need these gloves at all because I can't wear them and still do my job. I work outside in a cold sometimes humid environment and was hoping for warmer gloves to help me with fine motor skills as I found that when my hand gets cold it starts to fail. I am a woman with small hands and although I ordered my normal size (ignoring user reviews telling me to order larger), I found these gloves to

Ok but a bit disappointing.

Based on previous reviews I expected more from these gloves. Don't get me wrong, these are good gloves, but not GREAT gloves. The overall quality looks very good and keeps the cold out. However, these gloves are very small. I have fairly small hands (makes it difficult for me to hold whoppers) and I can usually fit in the small/medium size range. After seeing other reviews saying the same thing, I bought a large one - and it fits JUUUUSST. These are very, very comfortable. That means you might…

My job eats gloves: the search for good gloves continues

These Rothco neoprene cold weather work gloves fell apart and became completely useless after just a few weeks of bi-weekly use storing frozen food at the grocery store. My job consists of cutting/unpacking lots of boxes, working with ice cream products for hours and using my hands the whole time. I've had a great Spyder Core spring/fall glove that has stood the test of time on college and summer jobs just to keep my hands warm and protected, but after just a few weeks in the store they began…
