🚘 Rough Country Dual Steering Stabilizer for 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ - 4-6.5" Lift, Steering Damper - Model 87307 Review

I installed them on a '94 Wrangler without power steering for better control of the game on rough roads. It definitely helped and made my jeep easier to drive. I had to fabricate some brackets to mount the U-bolt, but that was because someone replaced my steering with a heavier one.

The product is worth it. I bought these for my 92 Jeep YJ. Definitely can be done much better. The only downside is that I have a spring over the axle so the bracket that connects to the stabilizer bar makes contact when flexing. But other than that, I recommended it to all his Jeep friends. never made a mistake when it comes to rough terrain. The full installation took about 30 minutes

My Jeep Wrangler YJ '89 went up 2.5 inches First I installed a single Rough Country sway bar to keep the steering under control. I once saw a duplicate stabilizer on Amazon. I thought that installing a dual steering stabilizer would make my bike more stable, but when I bought and installed a dual stabilizer I was shocked, the single stabilizer was stronger. I wasn't impressed with this double stabilizer, waste of money.

Installation was easy. The shock absorbers worked great. Bought on 10/26/2020, installed in mid-November. On September 19, 2021, while driving on the Autobahn, one of the shock absorbers began to leak and the oil seal was partially pushed out. I contacted Rough Country and they covered part of the warranty including free shipping. This is a great product and Rough Country clearly stands behind their products. I recommend this product without hesitation.

I put this on my 95 YJ with a 4" lift. Everything went without much difficulty. That greatly improved my steering. I considered buying a single shock because of the price difference, but I'm as happy as can be. Buy new stabilizer bushings. They cost less than $10 and you still have to take half apart to install this. What are the other 2 screws? I would measure your stabilizers before buying them. I trusted Amazon to tell me it would fit, but there's probably more than 1 size available for this

The Rough Country Dual Stabilizer Steering has almost completely eliminated bump steer on the YJ. I have a SOA high handling 91 on a Dana 44. I felt every bump in the steering. The installation was uncomplicated. I had to sharpen the bracket on the stabilizer bracket a bit because of the great preparatory work. It's really easy to install! I did it in 20 minutes and in the meantime I've been kind of messing around with other jeep stuff. I'm pretty sure this dual shock setup will last a long time. I immediately tested it in a pretty tough ORV park. It absorbed more powerful hits against some of the bigger obstacles. It is of excellent quality and quite thick.
