Well made kit which unlike others requires and includes glue for most steps. The directions are clear and well illustrated. It's fun and lasts a few hours.

I don't think young children should be able to do it on their own. I have a feeling this is for an experienced model maker and not for young children. You have to be very careful to separate the delicate wood from the side. I think the instructions could be a bit more detailed. Mine didn't look as pretty as the picture but close.

Perfect gift for new builders. It's easy to build and has clear instructions. To do this, use glue (which is included in the kit). To quote my teen, "Glue is a bit of a hassle because you have to wait for it to dry." Some of the flexible parts are brittle and some don't fit properly, making it best for adults/older teens.

This is the only wooden puzzle I've (of many) put together with painted pieces, which is a big plus. There are also lots of fun parts to build. Under the hood is the engine, and in the cabin are all the details. The parts that flex are fragile but beautiful, and there are even spare fender parts in case they break. The kit also includes sandpaper and glue, and you need both. Great set, especially for the price.

I really like all these wooden puzzles. I'm a car freak so this was a great puzzle for me. The pieces are perfectly cut and fit exactly as they should. The instructions can be a little tricky, but that's part of what I love about compiling - the challenge of getting everything to work, and that was a bit of a challenge for me.
