Sturdy and powerful in the kitchen and dining room

I grate a lot of tubers, root vegetables and the like. Ordinary graters flex, but this one will hold up to tough stuff. Haven't tried it, but you could probably rub it against a good pair of work boots.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Negative impression

What a relief! grated

What a relief to buy something that claims to be "heavy duty" only to find that it REALLY is! I like this one better than the old one I've had for decades. He was doing great, but since he was older than me, he eventually began to succumb. This new one is really powerful. I think he can handle me and my salad! Highly recommended

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • slightly torn

Nice and Sharp - Grater, Vegetable Slicer and Slicer

I needed a new grater and I liked that it didn't have the extra plastic parts to break like my old grater. It is very sharp and easy to clean. There's not much, but it was easy to hold over the pan and rub the cheese onto the eggs. If it was bent, it could easily be straightened. Worth the money, simple design, works very well.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Style 90

Quality for Life - Kitchen & Dining

I've been looking for this for years. Large enough to grate a block of cheese without having to lift and move the grater to empty; construction is solid; the size is perfect and fits in my large bread pan for storage; easy to clean without scratching your wrist trying to get in; Worth every penny because you'll never need one again.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Sad Packaging

Not impressed - looks flimsy and not sharp enough

I wouldn't call this grater heavy duty. It doesn't feel that durable, especially since it takes a lot of effort to rub something - the teeth just aren't that sharp. I liked my $4 grater better, which I got from a restaurant supply store. I tried to send it back, requested a label in the mail but never received it. There may be a problem with the USPS.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
