I need this item for kitchenware and gadgets

Didn't really know I needed this until I ordered something else from The Handy House and was thinking about the price to try. I haven't used it yet.

Very useful tool, suitable for graters, peelers and slicers

This small tool is good and useful. I use it with tomatoes and strawberries. It does the job well. It is made of high quality stainless steel. Highly recommended.

Pros

Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other tools

Very Efficient - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Saw this when I was looking for something different (a strawberry peeler) but didn't know there was such a thing as a tomato peeler. Surprise! It works. I put them in adult Christmas bags.

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Used extensively last summer with 10 different varieties of delicious tomatoes. Finally a good durable peeler, corer, call it what you will. It's exactly the same as the durable ones I've been using in restaurants for years. Forget the others, this one has stamina. Now needed with a rubber grip. Thank you.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Can be harmful

Don't buy this. Choose a sharper brand.

This cultivator is built for tough use, but its little teeth are as dull as a spoon! I've had a much lighter version in the past that was so sharp I had to be careful not to cut myself on it and it worked great for everything I used it for. It's so boring you can hardly use it for a tomato. As it's very sturdy, you can use it to scoop out the insides of a pear or apple, and it probably works well with strawberries, but if you need it for tomatoes, try a different one.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Interval

too robust for his own good?

When I first took my new tomato peeler out of my bag I was quite impressed. My previous model was a flimsy thing with an ugly plastic handle, bought from the production department. food market. This one was beautiful - all shiny stainless steel - and weighed a lot more than I was used to. And the teeth are so strong! But therein lay the problem. The teeth were too thick to easily pierce the skin of my beautiful heirloom tomatoes (more like thick fork tines than tiny blades). Instead of…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised
