Our previous tire tread foot wiper, despite being careful, seemed to grind everything from the yard onto our new composite deck surface. Check out our shoes and work boots. This coconut scraper even removes the dirt from the soles of your shoes and protects the deck and adjacent porch from dirt and debris. I plan to buy another one for the front door.

Not as thick as it should be. Because coir/coir is not as dense, the entire mat flexes and buckles too much when you step on it. When stepping on, the metal rests against the sole of the shoe. I've seen these in the past where the coco/coco was much thicker and stronger, it didn't flex into the sole of the foot. My advice to the manufacturer, find an older design template that is thicker. I've tried many floor mats. I had 4 different houses in different climates. I went back to it because it can withstand sun and snow/ice. The bristles are great for passively removing dirt from shoe soles (even better if you're actively scraping them). The dirt falls through and is easily washed off. My only complaint is that sometimes they bend or the "pipe cleaner" bends and comes out of the wire frame. It's still the best I've tried so far.

I bought these for my two beagle dogs (50lbs) who love to roam through the mud, sand and grass. They call it! I put it right in front of their dog door and they have to step on it before they enter!
