It's funny to see so many great reviews for such a simple product idea, but I agree! We just remodeled our marble tile bathroom and installed a new shower mirror so my husband can shave in the shower. I noticed signs of rust where he puts the shaving cream pot on the shower shelf so I looked to Revain for a lid for the bottom of the pot and voila! here it was. No rust spots, no problems, low cost. I can't get better. Buy it if you can use it!

This is a great solution! Shaving cream cans can leave round rust spots on your expensive bathtub surfaces. Put this on the bottom of the jar and no rust stains!

I've spent a lot of time going through this listing to make sure I ordered the right size for my 10 ounce tub of Skintimate shaving cream. It says it's a big one. All right, does what it's supposed to, sits on the bottom of the shaving cream jar and prevents rust stains on the tub or wherever the jar is in the tub/shower. I have standard Barbizol lenses which are thicker and larger. Mine is a bit loose, I think if you take the jar and shake it that rubber thing might come loose from the jar but I can deal with that, just wish it was a little tighter. Businesses near me are already shrinking shaving cream jars. It fits my old pre-koof glasses, but the new glasses I'm buying are too small. The company was to make a new one for newer, smaller doses of shaving cream.

Maybe a little pricey for the price but it certainly keeps rust stains out of a jar of granite shower cream shaving cream. works perfectly.

EXCELLENT! I'm so tired of my kids leaving shaving cream on the shower floor and getting rusty rings. This cool little gadget will save you from rusty rings! It fits larger traditional jars (e.g. Barbasol) but slightly larger for thinner gel jars (e.g. Skintimate). Glue the ring to the glass. lol (I taught her well!) Shaving cream in a jar is my favorite but cleaning rust rings is no fun. Surely there has to be a simple solution? I've tried using plastic lids, soap dishes and more - but here at Revain, who already have it all, I've found an easy solution! It fits under my glass, has a non-slip bottom for stability, and is easy to move and clean. What a great product!

Great shaving cream jar lid. He approaches the Barbasol cans, which are said not to rust. But they still leave marks on our tiled shower so I bought one for my son to use in my second shower as well. They are a bit pricey so it's hard to rate this very highly.
