It covers the chimney well and is also very durable

It covers the chimney well and is also very durable. But when firewood was heated in my fireplace, it boiled. It hasn't flaked off yet, but I don't know how long it will last.

Pros
  • Rated up to 2000Β°F (1090Β°C)
Cons
  • No automatic

Great product for repairing a Big Green Egg

I used this product to repair a cymbal setter for a large Big Green Egg. One of the legs was broken and this product successfully fixed it. Since then I've used the wafer setter several times in temperatures ranging from 200 to 800 degrees Fahrenheit with no apparent problems.

Pros
  • Great glue for minor or major repairs, easy to use and clean
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Oven cement is as messy as paint and grout, so be sure to wear gloves, safety glasses, and have damp paper towels/disposable towels handy. Another tip I…
