These curtains are just what we needed. Our sliding glass door no longer has a vacuum seal, but these curtains easily block the heat.

The fabric is very beautiful and completely blacked out! I read other people's reviews and was afraid I wouldn't like it. These curtains are great. Super soft and I love that the back is black so it doesn't get dirty like the white curtains on the back.

I bought these in June (fingers crossed) to keep my room cooler; we live in the south and it must have been one of the hottest june. It blocked 100% of the sunlight and lowered the temperature in the room, giving me the best sleep I've had in years! Highly recommended!

This is Effy's purchase. I'm really undecided so I just bought one set. Man I was completely put in my place lol. They are 100% blacked out. Idk about temperature drop in subspace. But you can see where I tried to take a photo of the curtains with the cell phone flashlight on, facing the front. I had to laugh because I thought this picture was edited.

I used to buy "blackout curtains" but they never worked well. Do these. I often slept until almost noon simply because I didn't realize it was daylight outside! Although they are thick they are not very heavy so I don't have to worry about the need for a heavy duty curtain rod. Please note my windows are small so I use one panel per window. If you are using multiple curtains I would not go for more than two without a support or a heavy duty rod.

Excellent curtains for your money. If you are looking for better quality curtains, just spend the extra money on other curtains. I just wanted something for privacy and to match my color scheme and it worked. It looks great with my gray blinds. Can't tell if it's just the color or the material, but when it gets dirty you really see it. I like the hardware compared to the traditional silver. Due to the packaging, it will be wrinkled, but over time, the creases will disappear.
