Ryka Women's Sky Walk Trail Shoe: High Performance for Ultimate Comfort and Support Review

I've had these shoes for a little over a week. I haven't worn them much, but the rubber toe cap is already separating from the left boot. Very disappointed with the quality. However, I really like the fit of these shoes. They are roomy at the toe and have a normal heel width. It fits my foot shape.

A few months ago I bought a pair of these shoes from a local store. I liked them so much I returned for a second pair but they were no longer available. One of the best hiking shoes I have ever owned. When looking for warm weather hikers I go gravel or forest trails and they are great for both. Rykas has so much room for toes. I have narrow feet but I like the room in the toes and the good fit in all other areas. I find myself forgetting to take them off and thinking of another pair to wear anywhere. The shoes had a terrible chemical smell right out of the box. I still wore them for walks, thinking the smell would go away after airing it out, but that's not the case. The shoes were very comfortable and I liked them, but it's been a few weeks now and after trying many solutions and leaving them outside to air for a few days, they still smell bad.
