Incredibly fast, affordable price, good capacity.

One of the first PCIe4 NVMe SSDs on the market and the most affordable yet. Buying an x570 board with a 3900x makes at least some sense. Meets advertised speeds, plenty of capacity for the price for this speed, easy install like any m.2, and the motherboard's built-in heatsink is more than adequate even with constant transfer. Games load quickly, the timeline cleanup is flawless, and the OS loads and runs very quickly. Overall, worth the small premium for early adopters, no worries, and comesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Dumb fast SSD is best for internal SSDs

Just installed on my new Ryzen 3000 build The first thing after booting up I had to see how fast this HDD is. It didn't disappoint. 4873 MB/s reading and 4213 MB/s writing. For the price, the speed is currently unbeatable. All you need is an expensive X570 motherboard with a new AMD processor.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Need for Speed โ€‹โ€‹runs best on internal SSDs

Insanely fast, great introduction to PCIe 4.0 speeds and what's to come. I threw this into a new Ryzen 3800 build and I have no complaints. Easy to install, easy to format, easy to boot into Windows. Everything works like a dream, highly recommended.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Don't really like it, just great

A special TB3 cable is required!

Like all other customer comments about the need for a special TB3 cable. NONE of my existing TB3 cables will connect to this case. I haven't decided yet if I'll try shaving off the connector on one of my TB3 cables to see if I can plug it into the recessed socket on the case. Easy to install and replace NVME SSD.

  • Availability
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Proprietary USB cable? No thank you!

While it's not the fastest TB3 NVMe case out there, I loved it because it felt sleek and practical. Can I use the full metal body without tools? Sign me up! But. The USB connector is countersunk and has two notches that prevent us from using a standard TB3 cable. Just look at the pictures. It also doesn't seem to sell any replacement cables that are compatible with it. What happens if I lose the cable or it breaks? Buy a new suitcase? Modify my existing cables to fit their totally non-standardโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not bad
