All fittings, except for the buckles, are badly rusted.

The hardware on the back where you detach the bag from the yoke began to rust within a week of installing and driving. The outside of the pockets need some reinforcement as they sag. These problems aside, they serve me well. The optional jumbo goes well with the Suzuki VL1500/C90.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Very nice accessory bag

I have large Saddleman bags and they just weren't big enough for my purposes. It's really a good size. I have to admit I was skeptical about these fittings without making any changes. I drive a 2004 1100 V-Star Classic with stock passenger footpegs and stock rear turn signal. The extra large pockets fit perfectly. No mods at all.

Pros
  • Motorcycles and Weightlifting
Cons
  • Can't remember

Disappointed with luggage

bags don't hold their shape and dangle from bike - a bit worried they might not hold up when in use. The center tends to pucker, so I have to pack my bags with light items (towel, jacket lining, etc.). I've decided to use a pocket-style mount for the MacGyver to hold it in place, but I still need it to be fairly full to hold its shape. See larger on the picture. In the long run I will invest the money and go for a hard bag solution, but that will do for a while.

Pros
  • luggage
Cons
  • security

Great product: Saddlebags

I bought these for my 2009 Yamaha vstar 1100. You will need brackets sold separately to keep them off the wheels. A year later they are perfectly preserved. You can hold your purse on one side and a few other items on the other. These bags don't require large purchases, but are great for a few items on a long fall trip. I take my bike to work. It doesn't fit in a large laptop. I had to get a backpack for that. It can hold your lunch, a tightly folded change of clothes and maybe a pair of shoes.

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • Some little things

The bags are of excellent quality.

Large bags go well with my Yamaha Roadliner and I am very happy with the purchase. This is the first set of bags I've had on my bike and they definitely make the bike more versatile and enjoyable. As this is my first set of saddlebags I can't directly compare them to others but I can say that so far (season 1) they have been durable and appear to be of very high quality. The only reason I don't give them 5 runs is that they can be a little annoying when they close when I've really filled them…

Pros
  • Saddlebags
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
