Great for paper, bad for plastic

Think of it more as a marker than a pen. The marker writes fluently and accurately. Feels like a cross between a fine-tipped marker and a fine-tipped pen. All in all a great purchase. The only downside is that I wanted to write on the back of photos with this pen and the ink took a long time to dry, it's a terrible choice for plastic surfaces.

Pros
  • Writes on flimsy paper like parchment (translucent paper that looks like smooth parchment)
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Wider, 1.0mm Pigma Micron - highly recommended!

Maintains the traditional quality of every Sakura Pigma pen I own. I wasn't sure what "graphic" meant exactly, so I bought one to try. It's essentially an archival quality pen with a wider yet solid 1.0mm tip, just like the rest of the Pigma Micron line - just 1.0mm in diameter. Ideal for wide lines in artwork and saves your strokes compared to using a narrower pen. Definitely recommended!

Pros
  • Pigma Graphic Ink Blister Pen Set
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Take it, Mr. Ball Point!

I've been looking for professional quality pens for my drawing hobby for a long time. The feel of these pens and the quality of the ink is just - for lack of a better word - special. Of course I'm not a professional artist, but from my experience I can pretend until I see the final results of my "talent". Spring. It gets me out of trouble - most of the time. One caveat: this ink is bright black and you should let it dry for a few seconds before coloring, writing, etc.

Pros
  • No smudges, feathers or bleeds on most papers
Cons
  • Not sure

Great for calligraphy, solid dark lines with no bleed!

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted chisel calligraphy markers and they are great! Good smooth dark black lines, archival ink (ph neutral, they're acid free too) doesn't spread at all! I'm glad I chose them and not the "Calligrapher" set which has bad reviews. Although I wasn't paying attention when I capped the 3mm marker and seemed to rip off the corner of the pen in the process. It still writes well, only now it looks more like a 2.90mm tip.

Pros
  • Updated packaging may look different
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Ideal for thick lines and large areas of color

This pen brand is my favorite ink. It's such a vibrant black and works really well if you want to create traditional lines and then scan them to color in the traditional way. my lines never lose their darkness. 1 is great for thick lines and coloring small areas, 2 and 3 are very versatile and can create many types of lines, and you can switch between them seamlessly by rotating the pen. I usually use 3 for painting large areas. And you can't see any marker lines, it's really pure black.

Pros
  • Drawing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I love these pens

I haven't found anything that compares. I paint a lot in black and white (Zentangle and Zentangle Inspired Art). These pens have never let me down. They last forever if you don't press too hard and you always snap them back on. They flow very smoothly across the paper, and the deep black archival ink stays black forever. Be sure to let them dry completely (I give them overnight) if you use damp medium on them. You will never regret it. buy these pens. Be sure to buy them online or prepackage…

Pros
  • Art, drawing and craft supplies
Cons
  • Out of style

Archived only on paper and wood

Many gardeners find it difficult to find a labeling solution that will withstand sun and rain throughout the growing season. I did some research and found that people have had the most success with these archival pens. But even if they're advertised as archival, that doesn't mean the ink will stick to every surface. The description warns against using ink on fabrics that are intended to be washed. I assumed they would be stable, waterproof and not smearing on other surfaces. I tried three…
