I love that you can paint over already filled areas and overlay colors or make them a shade darker or create a slightly darker outline. You have to make sure that the strokes do not overlap, otherwise you will get streaks in large areas. You can make thin and thick even strokes. I like to give colors bright colors and shadows. I personally prefer warm tones. I also like the dark cold gray color because it's like a desaturated blue. When I received these markers I also bought several TomBow markers. I also got some new manga books. To add to my growing collection. Each of the markers is a great size. Although small, they fit my small hand as well as my close friend (who has much larger hands) Abby. The pigmentation was beautiful. Every color had such depth. Koi and TomBow have the same pigmentation, but I find Koi slightly better. These markers are easy to mix with other colors, they can even be mixed in bulk. Adding any…

Coming from the world of graphic design and colored pencils, I expected cold and warm gray tones to be more realistic. With my Prismacolors, 20% gray is 20% gray. With these pencils, a warm light gray is more yellow-brown than grey. I love the brush though; It is a dream and a quality product. I would only suggest testing ink blends to see if they match pencils from other manufacturers.
