Great product but too big

These are great shoes but I had to return them because they were too big. I've bought a lot of Salomon shoes in the past and haven't had any fit issues so it might have something to do with this particular shoe. I recommend reading the size reviews. I am a 7 1/2 female from the USA.

  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Quality

The best shoe if you are on your feet all day!

I am a traveling primary school teacher who walks all day. These shoes saved my feet! They are super supportive and comfortable. I'm on my feet for about 12 hours and this shoe gives me great comfort and keeps my feet from feeling tired at the end of the day.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Old

Comfortable but strange design

The thumb constantly clung to the translucent plastic of the toe cap and hit from the inside in the area where the soft mesh was treated with a protective layer. Going up the next size might solve the problem as overall the shoes were comfortable. I have a narrow foot and they fit me just fine for just running in them, but I think for trail running even I need a little more room to manoeuvre.

  • Like everything before

The inseam can cause blisters

Unfortunately after a 4 km run I have the feeling that the inseam is rubbing on the arch of the foot. I believe this is because the shoe's tongue is connected to the sole, which creates more movement overall when the foot is lifted. Maybe I just have very sensitive feet. However, my husband has men's running shoes and starts to get blisters after 8 miles of running. Otherwise they were comfortable. Was disappointed to return because they looked sharp.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good for outdoor activities

While not my favorite shoe, they do more than just get the job done. They are pretty cute for an athletic shoe and offer enough support for my high arch. Even if I go up a half size, my toddler-like feet fit pretty well, even with my wide toe splay. In short, while I prefer Vibram Five Fingers for comfort and thinner and more sophisticated (fashion) shoes for style when I'm out on trails or outdoors in the wilderness where my zero-fit Vibrams just won't fit, these are these My new sneakers.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Worries me

Good shoe but not durable

I bought these shoes just over 3 months ago and although I really liked them when I first wore them I was disappointed in them. I run about 5km every day and sometimes jog on the sidewalk. I understand that these shoes are more for trail running, but I really like the Ortholite insole. I have a pair of Speedcross 3's that still work after 2 years (although now I only use them as spares and for gardening) so I'm not sure why the Sense Ride wears out so quickly. Comfortable shoe, but it just…

Pros
  • Great price

  • Big and bulky

Bad quality, strange design

Interesting shoes. I love Salomon's speedcross shoes and was intrigued to find this hybrid road running shoe. I'm a long distance runner who loves trail and trail running and I was very happy to find this shoe that seemed to fit both (so I didn't have to buy 2 pairs). Pros: - super cute shoes! Goes well with everything. Excellent hold. Salomon plain laces are the best! The lace pocket is located under the laces, so it's actually almost impossible to get a snug fit and still tuck the laces in…
