Surfer Toddler Boys' Shoes in Salt Water Sandals Review

Warning: I bought a red surfer for my toddler and they were very different from the previous saltwater sandals we received. I buy the same pair every year and this version seemed to be made out of a cheaper material - the leather was thin, stiff and the toe cap was too small. The soles were very thin and not at all like our other more durable surfer soles. Was there a product change? Are they scammers? In the end I returned.

Slightly small means unusually narrow. I always order these for my little girls but I always buy surfer sunglasses. Thought I'd try these but sent them back. Very narrow and poor quality. Now San San Surfer I put 5 stars. You can't go wrong with them. Runs normal to medium width but slightly oversized in length. I have 3 daughters and have been buying them every year for the past 4 years.

I have previously purchased Salt Water Sandals and have been very happy with them. They were no different. I love dark brown, they can be worn dressy or casual. They lasted all summer and will be wearing a few more next summer! I knew they would be large and ordered accordingly. What more could a mom want, stylish, affordable, durable! We always bathe in them the first time so they're close to the foot! And there have never been any complaints about comfort. I wish I had them in every color.

I have bought many saltwater sandals over the years. I was disappointed with the theses that at the time of wearing they started tearing from the straps. I didn't think about it until they got wet and now they're falling apart completely. These sandals are usually waterproof.

The length is perfect but the front strap is too tight even at the last hole in the buckle. A little disappointed as I triple checked the measurements to avoid disappointment.

They were very poor quality, with sloppy stitching, a huge lumpy knot right on the insole, and inferior materials. We still have a few pairs from Saltwater and these just looked wrong. Returned.

The delivery was fast, my kid loves her sandals. I grew up with seawater sandals, so it goes without saying that my child grew up wearing them. I will definitely order from this person again, they are very professional. Thanks again for the quick service.

These sandals appear to be fake saltwater, none of the quality and design match or match other saltwater sandals. We love these sandals because they are very versatile. They can go with a number of outfits, and they look dressy or casual.!

I bought two pairs of these. The blue pair is good. I love her. However, the brown pair has only been worn once and is already peeling! I definitely didn't get my money's worth after wearing it once!

I really love these shoes! My daughter has very narrow feet/ankles and it is sometimes difficult to find shoes. These shoes give her much needed ankle and arch support.

I love these sandals, I order them for my daughter every year since she was 2 years old. We live in a warm climate so they get a lot of wear all year round and when they grow out they still look new. They hold up so well that you can pass them down multiple times to younger siblings or generations. Eraser Clean cleans white laundry well when it gets dirty. They can also get wet easily. Worth the price.

AWESOME shoes we buy every year. If you want really cute sandals for spring and summer these are great shoes and they will hold up well.

Attention buyers I have been buying these sandals for several years now and they have a different sole than any others I have seen and the overall quality is different to others I have purchased. My daughter wore them on our trip this weekend - when they got wet they shrunk so much her foot couldn't even fit in the front strap area. My girls ALWAYS wear Hoy Shoe surfer sandals in the water and NEVER sit down like this.

A must have for your little boy. Good size and very comfortable for the summer months. Stay away from the Sun-San-Sharks model

These sandals are so versatile. My daughter wears them with casual and semi-formal attire. Although the soles can be quite slippery, they adapt easily and can walk/walk in them. Too sweet! I wish Revain had adult sizes but they always seem to sell out. I increased the size and it only works because of the straps. My daughter didn't look embarrassed. Good product!

I wore saltwater sandals as a kid, my kids wore them and I buy them for my grandkids. I bought two new pairs for my granddaughters but to my dismay the Saltwater sandals are now made in China. I don't mind paying $35. for USA made sandals, but I don't mind paying that amount for China made sandals.

I sent these shoes back. It's not the kind of style you see in stores or on the Kelly Kids. They have a weird two tier sole that feels very uncomfortable and the straps are very short. They will in no way bypass the foot of a normal sized child, let alone chubby babies. Maybe a very, very long skinny leg!

Are these sandals made of the same leather as the classic sandals? This year we decided to switch to this style for my son and within 3 socks the 'leather' was peeling off in several places on the side. This never happened with his other sandals (which he wore daily for many years). Revain have already refunded us but I am wondering if these are defective sandals or if they all will be. I'm not sure I'll be ordering this style again.

We love these shoes. I order for my kids every summer. This model runs one size larger. For example, my little boy wears a size 8 in other shoes, but in Salt Waters Surfers he wears a size 7. Salt water with thick soles is the complete opposite. If I were to order a pair of thick soles for it I would order a 9. Salt water is very hard when you first get it.
