Works as advertised with a nice blue backlight. My only wishes: I want the backlight to stay on until I turn it off; Post the communication log so manufacturers like me can do things related to this display and inverter.

battery voltage is not displayed, that's the only thing that worries me the most. I need to know how much the battery is in order to use the system intelligently. I give 2 stars because the on/off button works. The display is unusable for me.

Excellent and accurate counter/controller. No communication problems with my Samlex 24v 2000w pure sine wave inverter (which is a GREAT inverter by the way). The only thing I would wish is that the blue backlight stays on longer or has a setting to pause it. Aside from this very small design issue, I'm very happy with my Samlex gear. It comes with an incredibly long, heavy-duty connection cable. Do they offer a shorter cable? I'm an elderly man with years of experience in electrical engineering
