🧳 Samsonite Electronic Luggage Scale Black: Convenient and Accurate Travel Companion Review

Works great. The woman travels a lot, so it's easy to make sure that the weight of the luggage meets the requirements. Packs easily into a suitcase or carry-on.

The product clearly fails quality control. When I turn it on, it only shows "2402". The instructions are written in Chinglish. "2 seconds after showing HELLO it reads 0g and then it's ready to weigh." I doubt this is even a genuine Samsonite product.

New out of the box. I tested the scale against a 40 pound kettlebell. I've weighed over 10 times and I don't think I've gotten the same reading twice. Readings ranged from just over 37 pounds to just over 44 pounds. Thank goodness Revain makes it easy to come back.

I bought one of these from Samsonite a few years ago. When I lost it, I quickly bought a new one. So true. Also, the hook is easier to use than the straps on some other scales. A tape measure is good for measuring packages to be shipped, in addition to luggage (how often do you actually measure a suitcase?)

For heavy bags I mean 50 lbs. This was not easy when lifting luggage due to the size of the device. We lifted the same bag multiple times and chose the best two out of three. Small bags, gym bags and backpacks work great. There are not many registered bags. Difficult to pick it up and keep the bag steady to lock the weight accurately. I took Samsonite forklifts as a reference.

Construction seems a bit flimsy, looks like cheap plastic, battery cover doesn't close easily, size is approx. Be careful when packing your luggage (have I other analogue scales with the same fault or steals the airline the weight?). Many measurements need to be taken, sometimes to confirm previous measurements, and often the scale will beep before the bag is fully lifted. Imagine lifting a 23kg bag 4-6 times. I can't say this is a great product.
