At first glance, you can't tell this tablet apart from a standard Galaxy tablet, except for a few buttons. I've used this with gloves on rainy, wet days, I was skeptical, but it actually works pretty smoothly. We bought this for our shore excursions. Store it in a nice soft case and put a protective case over it to protect the screen. However, less than 4 months later a crack developed from the base of the screen itself. The Revain return period has expired and a Samsung rep told me that we must have dropped or bumped it (ahhh no) and that this is a repair that will be billed.
