I've never used another device that uses an S Pen, but I suspect it's an official replacement for another Tab model (I'm using a Tab S7+). In terms of battery life, connectivity, Air Actions and 9ms latency; everything is the same as the original that came with my Tab S7+. I think it was paired with my S7+ when I first put it in the charging slot. To be honest I can't remember the formal pairing. I used it every day with no problems, is what you need isn't it? It's a great size to mimic a pen, and it flows across the screen like a pen or pencil. The navy blue color matches that of the Galaxy Book 360 and goes well with it - it also attaches to the back of the screen with magnets, but you can remove it easily, so be careful. The purchase is definitely worth it.

The pen is better than the original equipment (OE). Also comes with an extra tip. Has a softer touch. I like the color too.
