I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

To begin with, I sympathize with everyone who bought for 20k +, and then, as they say, patience is a benefactor. For a long time I chose between kingston, WD and these and my mind took over. It works very fast even on the pci 3 bus and even faster than my second adat 8200 pro. The transfer of the system was done competently and took 18 minutes. The temperature does not rise above 38. In general, this is the flagship that should be in your system.

Pros
  • Samsung and that says it all)) It's just a top for your money where 10370 minus 850 points and 20% bank cashback))
Cons
  • Well, except that they didn’t put a fastening screw without a radiator))

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

So far, Samsung SSDs are one of the most reliable solid state drives in my opinion. Especially with the nvme protocol, your computer will fly. Please note that your motherboard has an M.2 connector. When you install a solid state drive, you will immediately feel the difference with a hard drive. Your computer will boot much faster (even very much). Previously, when I loaded the computer from the hard .

Pros
  • High data rate Quiet
Cons
  • Price. You need to stick a cooling radiator if it is not included with the motherboard

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

I took it for 1TB for the basis of the OS. Nimble, does not heat up (the Asus Rog Strix x570-f gamming board has a heatsink for SSD). The disk is installed directly above the video card (3060ti), taking into account the heat from the surface of the card, the disk temperature did not exceed 45°C. See speed and temperatures in skr. Let's see what happens in a year.

Pros
  • Quality, speed, stability
Cons
  • Not yet

I wanted to upgrade the SSD, I bought it instead of my ADATA Gammix S11 Pro 512 Gb. I was sure that everything would work much faster. Outcome - all the same. The increase is 5-10% maximum, since all its advantages are in linear tests and up to a certain volume. During normal operation (work / play), I did not particularly feel the difference. The system is loaded about the same. I understand that I bought in vain. Had I known in advance, I wouldn't have taken it. Now, if you didn’t have an SSD

Pros
  • normal speed
Cons
  • High expectations

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

Original SSD, box came with all seals from the manufacturer. After installation in the chipset, it is necessary to initialize the disk. You can download their branded Magician and Data migration software from the Samsung website, the first one will help you set up / optimize disk performance, check speed / originality, the second one will move files. For those whose processor does not support pci-e 4.0, do not bother buying, even if the motherboard supports it - there will be no speed higher…

Pros
  • Fast and reliable
Cons
  • Not detected

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not perfect quality, there is a small defect.

The product came in a sealed box, sealed on both sides. I had to cut. The ssd looks like new, no mechanical damage. As with the store in one word. My surprise was after I installed Windows and went through the program to see the information. I installed only Windows, ates, firewood and software. And the number of records was already over 300 GB and reads 500 GB. It took 58 GB of space for everything on the disk. The conclusion is that the goods are used. It's a shame, of course, but God forbid…

Pros
  • Work speed. Safety margin.
Cons
  • At first glance, a completely new thing.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

I am very glad that I chose this particular disk, although they advised me to take it easier. Firstly, the speed is chic and the regular plate-radiator on the ASUS TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS WIFI does an excellent job of cooling. Secondly, looking at the prices (I took it for 20k, now it's already 28k), I think that I managed to "snatch" it, to a new type of hysteria - mining on SSD. With regards to NVMe, I haven’t figured it out yet, according to foreign reviews for Revit, there is a difference, I…

Pros
  • Speed Stability
Cons
  • I do not see any shortcomings, but I think that the price will soon become a disadvantage.

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

Overall a great disc. The speed is impressive! If not for TLC. Got pros: It's Samsung and in SSD they can. Fast 1TB SSD with PCIE 4.0 bus. I took it under the system - very responsive in the end. I don’t drive in benches, but even there it will give impressive numbers. Some cons: Samsung clamped MLC memory and installed TLC! It's kind of a degradation. If there was a 970 PRO with PCIE 4.0 support, I would have taken it better without hesitation. Downgraded for this reason alone.

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

Samsung SSD 980 PRO is a fiasco of a Korean manufacturer, and unfortunately I bought it. Brief background. I have an old 256GB ssd on sata - which is already 7 years old, while it has both Windows and games, and there was not enough space, although health during this time fell from only 100% to 92%. I decided to buy a new fast ssd on m2 pci4 - the mother and the processor supports it. At first I looked after the Corsair Force Series MP600, he is simply handsome, and there is a built-in radiator

Pros
  • Very high speed. Supports pci4.
Cons
  • Change memory type from MLC to TLC There is no radiator, without which it will quickly become unusable, since during tests the controller can heat up > 80 degrees. what can cause chip failure.

Expectations were not met, average quality.

I have been using M.2 SSD Samsung in my small farm for more than 3 years, The main mass is at workstations, these are about 200+ computers, Models 960 Evo 250g, 970 evo 250g, 970 evo PLus 250g. There are also several 970 Pro 500 and the discussed 980 Pro 500. So I've been suffering with the latter for half a year now, They work in a lightly loaded server. the record for the duration of work without freezing is 45 days, and it could fall off after 3 days. I won’t lie, there were 7 incidents…

Pros
  • Speed, but I have a server with Pci-E - I did not feel it
Cons
  • Falls off, overloading the server does not help, you need to reset the power, IPMI helps out. And the server is in another city.

Forget "data encryption "

I just spent two days trying to get the SSD hardware encryption to work with Windows Bitlocker - nothing worked. And there is NO documentation on how to enable it - a google search turns up a lot of people having problems. I couldn't even get it to use Bitlocker software encryption after doing a Samsung data migration as an OS disk. In the end, I just had no other options - I went back to my 970 EVO and the software-encrypted OS drive and used the 980 PRO as the Bitlocker software-encrypted…

Pros
  • Good for many
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Not much to say here, it's an improvement over the standard SSD technology we're all used to. Cache, meaning small transfers (read: all but 100GB) reach speeds close to 7.9GB/s, while bulk transfers are slower and the time it takes to load resources from memory is in most, if not all Significantly reduce applications. suggest a heatsink or heatsink for this drive if you expect to be moving large files on a regular basis, but for most use cases (look at gamers) you'll never get to the point…

Pros
  • glitter
Cons
  • There are issues

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Outstanding performance - not for everyone

**1TB version** Samsung used 3-bit TLC flash in this generation instead of the 2-bit MLC used in the 970 Pro. This still results in excellent read/write IOPS. I did three runs in a row for a quick torture test and the results are pretty close to what was advertised with the exception of IOPS. That's underwhelming compared to Samsung's claims of 1000K versus the 700K it achieved. Aside from the premium price, I'd recommend this to anyone who moves large amounts of data frequently and/or wants…

Pros
  • Nice looks
Cons
  • Some flaws

Slower than others on PS5.

Well, all this hype about Samsung looks extremely unfounded. I put a heatsink on it and ran the PS5 twice to test the speed. 5560 ish for the first time. The second time is 5360. Cheaper drives work well in the 6000-7000 Mbps range. Samsung has a notoriously good guarantee, and initial tests show that the difference in speed doesn't equate to faster load times while in this range, but that's a joke. Buy another drive. Pretty disappointed. Update on this:. I contacted Samsung about this. They…

Blazing Fast!: Storage

These things are blazing fast in a PCI Express 4.0 environment if you look at an AMD Threadripper processor. I just installed TWO of these 1TB m.2x SSD cards in an Asus Zeneth II Extreme TRX40 motherboard and they are insanely fast with no issues whatsoever. Don't forget to download Samsung Magician so you can update these firmwares and keep them TRIMed (defragmented). I swear these cards work like programs out of DDR4 DIMMS memory, not hard drives. They really speed up the whole system. I…
