This is a genuine factory replacement for the same remote control part number. Our original remote somehow got washed in the washing machine and still works but we wanted to replace it as we figured the original remote wouldn't last long and I was happy to see that it was a real Samsung remote and not a cheap fake was. Complete with logo and part number on the front and decal on the back.
