The Fit Not Pleasing Gloves are good for training

They are ok but the finger area needs a bit of work and the width of the glove makes it look weird. A bit upset that I would have to try another pair and spend more money to find "the right ones".

These gloves are awesome

I love the Battle Forged range, these gloves are awesome and a big improvement over the basic range, the basic range is awesome too but they are definitely top notch if you train in MMA

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad but...

They're nice to look at, but they didn't last long.

I'm an amateur fighter, I train day in and day out in and out of the gym so I always try to find the best gear that will last me over the long term. As great as these gloves looked in the picture and even better in real life, it only took 3 training sessions before they ripped and the seams came undone. Very disappointed in a company who thought they had much higher standards for their products.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Disappointing: Training device

The padding is probably effective for the backhand. It is thickened on the back of the hand and its design makes hitting uncomfortable. The material sticks out in the palm of your hand with just one strap. The wrist strap doesn't have enough velcro to prevent the sharp side with the hook sticking out. It's mostly good for pocket work (which isn't its intended purpose), but nobody wants it to bug you in sparring and wrestling.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Uncomfortable fit with misplaced padding

Seams between stretch fabric and fabric do not hold well. I got around this with skin-to-skin Kevlar seams, which also gave me a snugger fit on my wrists and got rid of the protruding hook and loops that were also annoying, a win-win. That being said, the only bad thing is that, as others have said, the main padding is about a half inch further from the hand, not the knuckles.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other options

Not the best option for other sports

Pros: The gloves material and stitching appear to be of good quality and they come in a small ventilated velcro bag with hanging loops on both sides. There is enough room for finger movements to use hands for gripping and holding. I also like that the logo is a bit understated and the glove has neutral tones. Cons: But the glove didn't fit perfectly. Since the Sanabul Essential MMA Grappling Gloves only have one hand strap, in contrast to the double Velcro system of the Sanabul Essential MMA…
