XL? For whom, child?

XL for a child can be. Too bad it's XL. I'm only 5'11". 180 pounds. these should fit. They are 2-3cm shorter I ordered a second pair of Sanabels and the first pair had a silly problem with the leg strap and they have ridiculously short shins. Waste of two weeks. i want to train

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons

Professional quality at a great price

Another Sanabal product that exceeds expectations. I have been using the Ringside brand for over 20 years. Great brand but damn expensive. These shin guards are by far the most comfortable, protective and seemingly durable I've had at a fraction of the cost. I also use their rashguards and MMA shorts. GOOD PRODUCT

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Very expensive

Less than expected but excellent quality

Works less than usual. I bought s/m. Maybe I should have bought a big one. My lower calf is 22.5 cm and my upper calf is 35.5 cm. The coverage is decent. Covers about 75% of my calf but not below the knee. There is a leg strap but no ankle strap. I have to adjust the pads every hit or so because they twist. The quality is great. The faux leather feels nice and soft, the padding is thick. This will continue.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Hard to tell

excellent value for other sports

fit well and stay in place during sparring and pocket exercises. I'm 5'8", 165 and have a large. Stays together well after a few months. The padding is very thick for which I'm not deducting points as I don't consider it a disadvantage. but if you want something thinner , you can also work out your shins while working with the bag, they can be too thick If you don't want your shins to hurt in collisions they are great Overall: Inexpensive, well made, they stick to the shins and are durable.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • There are nuances

You get what you pay for full junk shin guards

The fit is junk and barely covers half the foot (I wear women's size 7). The shin guards themselves are flimsy and have a "cheap" feel. There is almost no padding and they moved every time I hit (used for muay thai). I had to return them but if I had kept them I highly doubt they would have lasted more than a few months. With intensive use. They can be useful for children or those who come to class from time to time. For adults who exercise every day, no worries. Save money and buy better…

Decent quality - odd size?

Okay so I don't understand why they have so many 5 star reviews. Padding and pad quality is good but foot coverage is not very secure, straps are too long unless you have huge calves so have a few extra, velcro is so lax they slip. and worst of all, the shin size makes no sense. Most Muay Thai pads are at least 14.5 inches for the large and even larger for the XL. But size XL is 12 inch. There is no one who is 5ft 10" tall or taller whose shins are adequately covered by these shin pads. Your…

6 ft 2 in, 220 lbs and they fit like a glove

Okay, sports fans. I have tried many shin guards due to my size and they never fit. You were perfect. just below my knee which allows me to throw my knees effectively and smoothly in place etc. d.). The padding is adequate for beginner to intermediate users and should last a while. I admit that the sizes of Sanabul are strange. I've tried other Sanabul pads and they were either too short or didn't fit my calves. It was okay for the money though and I would recommend it to anyone who plays…
