It should be 256 GB. I could upload a small file to it, but not a 21GB file. I received an error message that the target disk is too small. I have a Lonovo ThinkPad that only had a small hard drive but has a micro SD card connector. I have a 256GB microcard in the slot so I can backup everything to a 256GB USB flash drive. It takes a while, but having a backup about once a month gives me peace of mind. I use smaller flash drives more often to back up work done between full backups.

First I tried "SamDisk" thinking it was this disk. Failed after a few months. This drive works great (I use it as an automatic backup drive), it's very sturdy and doesn't wobble around in the slot. Highly recommended.
