Something strange in memory

Excellent memory card for Wii. In fact, this is the main memory card for the Wii. The thing is that I copied most of my game save from the Wii to the card but some files from my games disappeared. I don't know if it was the memory card or if my game deleted the file by itself because I haven't played for so long or what, but yeah.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Quality

Paid more for a branded logo.

Just because it was a 2GB SD card with the Wii logo it should have been a lot cheaper than the price I paid. I just wanted to pack a homebrew on my Wii U, I have a 32GB SDHC, but it wasn't supported because Wii mode only takes 2GB and under, so I ordered one and probably paid 5x more than me would have. It's better to buy an SD card without the Wii logo.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

A good choice if you need LOTS of storage space!

I have used SanDisk products in my cameras for many years and have been very satisfied with the quality and available storage capacity of these products. So I was happy to see that Nintendo chose this line of products for the Wii. The quality remains the same as my camera-focused products; ie very high. And it will take me some time to use this large memory. So I'm very happy!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Good, but not great

This is a memory card.

I don't know if I really needed a special "Wii" memory card or if I could just use one of the millions of other SD cards I have around the house. But I bought it and here it is. It works. He remembers things. It didn't break in transit or anything like that. I think SanDisk is a trustworthy brand. So if you really need this thing (maybe I should have googled this point before spending any money) then great. take action.

Pros
  • Best-in-Niche
Cons
  • Legacy

Great for other (old) devices

It's true that the Wii doesn't require a Wii branded SD card, so you can save money by buying a non-Wii branded card. However, one benefit of this particular card is that it works with my Epson PictureMate printer where newer SD cards (especially higher capacity, high speed cards) do not. So I actually have a non-Wii card in my Wii and I use that card to transfer pictures to my Epson PictureMate. Not only can PictureMate not read the high-speed 8GB card I use with my digital camera, it also…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
