SanDisk is a very good product when used as intended, not for long term storage. Perfect for boot drives, I bought 32G drives to increase their usefulness over 16G drives, but both work very well!

I used 20 of these for a 32GB+ project for my extended family. There were lengthy videos, as well as photos and documents, and copying took about 1/3 the time that several other brands have attempted. Everything in the batch worked well so quality control is excellent. Highly recommended.

Be warned I thought this product was slow. After transferring a few gigabytes, the write speed dropped to 14MB/s. I called San Disk support and they told me that there is no write speed listed for this product. So you get what you pay for.

Bought to assemble boot disks of various tools (Acronis True Image, Rescue Disk, Linux Distro, etc.). I really only needed 8GB USB sticks, but for an extra $3 (per set) I got 16GB. Trust the SanDisk brand and the connector is retractable. When it's outside it's solid, and when it's inside it's safe. At the bottom there is a nice stripe for the label.

5 stars. I only needed USB flash drives, I didn't really need anything fancy and really didn't need one in some silly retractable case or bandolier, but the devices themselves work really well and unlike some other retractable USB drives, this one doesn't get in the way and put away while I try to plug it in. Please note that I also like small short memory sticks. But they are nice because they are big enough that I can put a tag on them and not lose sight of what I have on the suction cup.…
