Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

Great receiver! VHF extended range catches consistently well in any conditions. AM and HF indoors are problematic, but on the street it surprises with the saturation of received stations! The sound is not stereo, but for a portable receiver it’s quite pleasant. , but at the same time soundly and qualitatively. Nothing creaks, dangles. I am very satisfied with the purchase! If you have doubts, I recommend it, you won't regret it!

Pros
  • Reception quality! Small dimensions and light weight. Reads a flash drive. Powered by battery, mains or batteries. Extended VHF range 64-108 MHz.
Cons
  • No scale backlight.

Sangean HDR-14 AM ultra-portable FM radio, is it cool? In a word, yes. Does location matter, yes. It's a real pleasure to listen to your favorite station in HD. Search YouTube for the model and my name to see a full video of this radio. Features I love about this radio: * Super portable * Excellent signal strength indicator * HD on AM. It's fantastic.* Listening to your FM broadcasts with perfect digital sound is amazing.* Overall build quality is good.* Many menu options.* Dual alarm.* Alarm…

Tiny size. Excellent reception for analog or HD. Easy to use.

Small size. Excellent reception. I've had this little radio for less than a day and it may be the last AM/FM pocket radio I'll ever have to buy. Considering how small the speaker is, the sound quality is good enough to hear the difference in clarity between analogue and HD. I haven't tried headphones yet. Significantly improved analog and HD reception (AM and FM) compared to my old Sangean HDR-1 tabletop device. With stronger analog AM signals, the bandwidth seems to automatically expand for…

So good I bought two more.

The first purchase of a Sangean HDR-14 HD AM/FM radio took four weeks. I was so impressed that I bought two more. My original purchase was for my bedroom, the next two are going to another room and my cubicle at work. I received and tested my two new radios. They work fine. I used to have an Insignia HD radio and although it sounded slightly better (louder) the reception was weak. Sangean HDR-14 has much better reception. And the sound is very good, but not stereophilic. After all, this is a…

Good FM, reasonable AM.

I had two Sangean HDR-14 handsets. In the first one I used the wrong adapter and blew up the board. So be careful when connecting the radio. My second HDR-14 improved performance in both FM and AM. Pros: Sensitive FM. This radio picks up HD signals better than my HDR-16. While it's not as selective as the 16 on the VHF band, its standard sensitivity is quite good on the VHF and VHF HD bands. Even weak FM stations can be heard well with this radio. The end stations in mono still sound clear. The

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • No Automatic

This radio has to be one of the best radios I have ever owned apart from an old multi band short wave radio I had as a kid. Reception on the AM and FM bands is excellent and I was pleasantly surprised to find incredible reception on the AM band. Most other radios I've had in the last 10 years or so have had terrible AM reception. The old school tuning wheel with open air string and variable capacitors and a tuned front end were the only radios I've found worthy so far. Good luck finding one of…

Good product, not disappointed.

I found a radio receiver Hyundai H-PSR130 - 440. Ordered in . expect 10 days. But something went wrong . It turned out that they were not in stock, it is not known when and where they will be, Therefore, they called me and offered to return the money, and apparently in order not to lose the client - a more decent option, for decent money 690 (and they gave a discount of 200, total 490). With next day delivery after payment… I recommend to use. BUT 1. To improve the reception of distant or weak…

Pros
  • What is interesting in it: 1. Wide band: Soviet VHF + Western FM 64-108MHz. Captures TV, AM, and 6 HF bands. There is a slot for micro sd and usb memory cards. Checked VHF+FM. In an apartment in the southwest of St. Petersburg, it takes 45 stations, captures the meter part of the TV range. AM receives 2 stations. From a USB source reads norms. From micro SD cards - reads norms, only it must be formatted to FAT 2. power supply: powered by 3 AA batteries or the same batteries, or a small battery that is included. There is no power supply, but you can use a suitable one for 5 volts. I found a couple of pieces with the same batteries in my collection of phones. Only the charger connectors are not suitable, but this is not a problem, you can cut the plug and connect + and - directly to the terminals of the battery box, or resolder . When you connect the usb-charger, the "Charge" light turns on, I checked the charge period from scratch. 5 hours passed, the "charge" light did not turn off, the "power" light turned on after the power supply was turned off. At the same time, the battery is charged. The receiver works from the charger even when the battery is removed. I checked the battery for capacity: it lasts for 6 hours at medium volume 3. Included: receiver, battery, usb power cord, for charging AB, hand cord. description, warranty card. 4. The packaging is solid, box + bubble bag. + everything is additionally packaged for delivery. 5. Payment by credit card through the store's website. Quality execution. good plastic. The sound is quite satisfactory. On the side is a built-in flashlight with 6 LEDs. Bright light. There is a headphone output, mono. It's much better to listen with headphones. Sensitivity, selectivity and other special parameters were not measured.
Cons
  • Power supply included or no AA batteries There is no jack for connecting an external antenna.

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Good China for your money. Manufacturer Topstar electronics Co. The radio receiver is made under the license of Hyundai. I have a long experience of using Sony ICF-SW11, Hyundai H-PSR140 is no worse. Reception conditions Hong Kong CJSC, second floor, five-story building. VHF and FM, quite confident, it is not necessary to extend the antenna. There are a couple of stations on the NE. On HF in the late afternoon you can catch something. It is strange that rarely radios are equipped with extended…

Pros
  • The real presence of VHF and FM and as a bonus SV and HF. Almost universal. Valkoder without idling. Ability to operate on battery and AA batteries. Stereo sound if you connect headphones, not all Panas can do this. Easily read a 16 GB flash drive in FAT 32 format. It remembers where the song stopped and plays further. Small sizes. The appearance is quite stylish, ala mid-80s. Sounds good, loud and clear. If you turn on music from a flash drive, the sound is at the level of a cassette player with a mono speaker. Not Hi-Fi but not annoying. By the way, the LED flashlight is very relevant. If the electricity goes out, there will be a double benefit. All switches, buttons and knobs are well made.
Cons
  • Smells a bit like plastic. I think it's temporary. On the box and in the instructions it is written, the FM range is 87.5-108 MHz. On the receiver itself 64-108 MHz. This is strange. It is a pity that there is no backlight scale. Although someone with straight arms can refine this moment on their own.
