I was a little skeptical at first about the pair of metal wires holding my One, for two reasons: looks, security, once unboxed and installed I was impressed. You don't notice the "clips" of the wires at all. The quality is excellent, the speaker is reliable.

My friend just installed them, he even moved one because he didn't like the original location and had no problem with it. He mentioned that the included screws are cheap and easy to remove. But that was the only problem he had.

Pros: Good looks, low profile, easy installation, nice design Cons: Poor quality control of wall screws. The screw heads come off very easily. The Play 1s are quite heavy and the plastic parts make me nervous. Fixing the speaker with just one screw is also not the best option. Allows the speaker to be rotated if the speaker screw is not overtightened. It would be better if there was something to hook the top to prevent rotation.

Good quality speaker bracket. Attach the supplied metal plate with screws/dowels and slide the bracket onto the plate. Feels very secure on the wall. I have a Sonos One and the metal wiring fits perfectly and is tight on the speaker. I was so impressed that I bought another pair of brackets for two more Sonos One speakers. Yes, they fit the Sonos One SL! These are the same wall mounts advertised on the Sonos website, but were offered here for faster shipping and a little cheaper ;) They were easy to attach to the speaker and easier to wall mount - I went straight to the studs decided. These Sanus wall mounts are compatible with Sonos One, One SL, Play 1 and Play 3. They are really well made. The walking platform is very strong and durable. Forget drywall anchors, speakers have some weight, they're not lightweight so be sure to use a rod finder and screw them into the wall bar!
