Ideal for travel charger

Great travel charger. About 5 hours of charging Eneloops at 2100 mAh. Nice and compact, good lynch pins, works on 50-60Hz/110-240V systems. I use it to charge my GPSr batteries at night when traveling. Fast enough that you can pop in the batteries at the last minute before bed and they'll be ready before you wake up (or pop them in when you get up in the morning and they'll be ready for dinner). Works for my purposes but only charges AA Ni-MH batteries

I have a digital camera that uses 2 AA batteries. I hate how quickly my camera batteries die, so I wanted rechargeable batteries and I've heard good things about Sanyo. Since batteries are used in pairs, I figured a charger that charges in pairs would work well. The charger only charges AA NiMH batteries. The two batteries supplied are of the second generation type. Beware! Not the charger!

I bought this charger from Revain. It was broadcast by Adorama Camera. The picture and description matched the Sanyo NC-MDR02NU 2 cell charger and I was very surprised when I received the SEC-TDN02N. These two chargers are very different. MDR02 can charge AA and AAA while TDN02 can only charge AA. About half the batteries I use are AAA, so the TDN02 charger is a waste of money to me.
