If you are a "fat" golfer, the mat does not absorb shock/pain in your hands. Also, you must place this mat on a very hard surface for it to work. For example, laying a rug on grass will make it unstable. I also had issues with the ball falling off the tee for no apparent reason. I think the mat would be better for low handicap golfers or scratch golfers. For a layman like me there are more disadvantages than advantages.

I was impressed when I received the product; However, after a week of use, I found more downsides of this product. 1) Durability: Rating 3/5 because it's not the best and not the worst option; 2) Durability: This isn't full strength as traction is lost over time and a lot of the little black strands have fallen off the mat lately compared to the first few uses which I believe will eventually will cause the entire rug to fall apart. I wasn't wearing a shirt, so I can't speak.

it is a bit small. However, this was for my husband and had no sizing issues before I ordered it - or after it was delivered. This is exactly what he wanted and needed to practice his swing or just swing his stick when he was bored or watching TV. The thickness is perfect and it seems like it will be durable and last a while. He's happy, so I'm happy. Would recommend - assuming the buyer doesn't need something longer or wider to use them.
