Description of Sargent Art Gray Polymer Baking Clay

Oven- bake polymer clay. Great for all types of clay sculpting projects from crafts to jewelery. Comes as a 1 pound block in gray color. Versatile clay can be drilled, sanded, and painted after hardened. Clay will be firm at first, but will soften as you knead it in your hands. If kneading large portions is too difficult, divide the clay in smaller pieces, as it will stick together easily once softened.

Not what was expected

I gave this to my husband who is an avid clay user. He wasn't impressed. The clay was lumpy and required a lot of work. Despite this, it has not dried out and can be used at any time.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • vulgarity

Great after shaping it a bit

It took a hard roll to heat it up but it's a great tone! This is for a tone armature I'm working on so the eyes haven't been put in yet but I'm happy with this tone process.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Protection

Good polymer clay!

Comparable to better known clay brands. We're tired of going to the craft store and their clay is always brittle and very old. I'm glad I decided to give this brand a chance. It is very elegant and appears to have been made recently. I look forward to sculpting with him.

Pros
  • Supplied as a £1 gray block.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model.

Easy to use but not perfect.

This was my first experience with this type of sound and it went pretty smoothly. It took a little effort for the clay to soften, after working and heating the clay it was relatively easy to work with. The biggest problem I had was how to mix the audio with the other parts. That issue aside, I was more than happy with the tone and results.

Pros
  • All-purpose clay can be drilled, sanded and painted after it has hardened
Cons
  • There are other interesting possibilities.

Literally the softest clay I've ever used

Personal strength, hand warmth and ambient temperature all affect how soft the clay feels, but this clay is so sticky and malleable I don't understand how someone could think that he is too hard. I bought this clay on purpose because the reviews said how heavy it was and I was disappointed.

Pros
  • Kiln-fired polymer clay
Cons
  • Available in white only
