**NOT** mechanic. The girl just wants to know what's going on with her car. I liked this product, I read the instructions, watched the video but apart from extracting the code it's useless. Aside from the menu being unintuitive, there were a few issues: Couldn't connect - both of our cars, every time I plugged it in. .INC is incomplete. So how do I get it to complete the diagnosis? MIL-OFF state - what is it and how do I turn it on? Maybe an autoguru might find this useful, but I didn't.

Reliable and easy-to-use scanner. Toolbox Essential

Very impressed with this scanner. Very easy to use, quickly figured out the functionality. It read some of the things I tested closely, including battery voltage and RPM, but it does a lot more. Keep this device in your truck so I can diagnose the problem faster if I ever run into a problem while driving. I drive a newer F150 and tow a caravan. So when we're on the road, getting back on the road quickly can be crucial.

Inexpensive and no-frills OBD2 scanner

Pretty simple and no-frills OBD2 scanner. I tried this on a 2013 Subaru Outback (see my video for a demo) and a 2019 Ford F150. This is a plug and play device. I was able to code on my Subaru, detect it and then clean it. It doesn't have many whistles and bells, but it will allow the typical hobbyist to examine pop-up codes and maybe determine if it's something smaller (like a leaking gas cap). Good tool for a non-mechanic like me

I got an OBD Yakry car diagnostic tool to check for problems with my new 'used' car. It was easy to use and I didn't find any codes pointing to the problem. I love that it checks the battery level and has many other features to play around with, but until something happens like the check engine light comes on I can't reproduce or determine how effective it will be in identifying the problem and/or clearing the code (like resetting the oil change light after an oil change: this happened a few…

Saved my trip and costly repairs

On a whim I bought this tool for a trip I was taking to another state to buy and tow a trailer.
