Description of Scapa FR100 PolyFlex Retardant Polyethylene

Scapa FR100 PolyFlex Plus FR Fire Retardant Polyethylene Tape is an 8 mils conformable, polyethylene film tape, coated with a synthetic rubber pressure sensitive adhesive. Meets the fire test requirements of NFPA 701 standard and ASTM E84 for improved fire retardancy. Used for temporary masking and sealing in safety-critical environments and general masking applications where fire safety and identification is a concern. Provides a high visibility approved product for FR applications, with unique red stripe appearance allowing ease of identificaton on site. Aggressive adhesive for superior bonding to a range of substrates.

Fantastic Fire-Resistant Tape

This tape is a lifesaver! As my tests showed, it truly is fire-resistant and provides a secure seal for cartons. It's easy to use and cuts smoothly without tearing .The adhesive works great on a variety of surfaces too. The only downside is that THE price is a bit higher than other carton sealing tapes, but it's worth the investment for peace of mind. Overall, I highly recommend this fire-resistant tape for anyone in need of a secure seal for their important packages..

A waste of money is best at Office & School Supplies

Don't waste your money, these are practically non-flame retardants. I would have asked for my money back but I had it long before I could use it.
