Use on scrap and scrap, make more money! Great product and very easy to use!

I've been doing woodwork at an amateur/amateur level for a number of years, mostly making and building projects for the home. The amount of scrap wood I throw away that could be used to make coasters or jewelry is outrageous. I see people on Revain, Etsy, FB, and Craigslist marketplaces selling small decorative wooden items/signs/stands etc almost every day. Buy wood burning kit

This product is a waste of money. The same results can be achieved by simply using a brown marker on a piece of wood. I do crafts and I can always learn a new technique or art form. So my disappointment with this product is not due to my incompetence. The problem is in the product. The level of "stinging" is unknown until the product is applied and activated with a head gun. Therefore, it is not possible to know if the amount of product has been evenly applied to the wood until it is too lateโ€ฆ

Don't waste money. Buy a Sharpie instead!

I watched a lot of YouTube videos and followed the instructions exactly. I sanded my 220 blade smooth, shook and primed the handle, dabbed off excess, etc. Was very careful and used recommended wood species. The liquid kept spilling out. Different types of wood were used and recommended with the same results. I've tried stencil and freehand, both in the blood! The color changed to dark brown but never turned black even with my new heat gun at altitude. The finished product looked like a darkโ€ฆ
