Clear plastic is really good compared to scratched plastic face shields, but some plastics are not that different from clear plastic drinking glasses. I would like a really scratch-resistant plastic.

Great shield just wish they were a little cheaper especially as the helmet is dated. Replacement parts for it cannot be found other than face shields. I guess I should be happy about that since my other scratched the sky. I think it's time to buy another helmet.

Fast delivery and great price! Bought as a replacement for my Scorpion EXO-1000. The Scorpion rep said it would fit, but I would have to use the shield lock (little black lever) from my old shield. However, on my EXO-1000 it worked straight away without having to change the lever. I'm so glad I don't have to buy a new helmet (EXO-1000 helmets and visors are obsolete).

I didn't like the price. $40 is too much for a face shield replacement. Must be over $20. I bought this new helmet on sale for $108. A shield shouldn't cost anywhere near 40% the cost of a helmet. But it looks great and was so easy to install. I removed the second one and installed that one with no problems. 2 minutes from start to finish. Scorpion face shield arrived on time. The product looked exactly as ordered but it was terribly difficult for me to put it on a helmet. Probably an hour and a half work. The old visor was easy to put on and take off, but this new one always came out of the groove on the right side (facing the helmet). I even compared it to another Scorpion 500 helmet to see if I was doing something wrong. I wanted to send it back and finally a protective mask to stay. I'm not sure I want to take it off again…

I love the EXO-500 helmet and wish they had kept the design. Okay, I just gotta keep this helmet alive while I can. The replacement face shield is not an aftermarket item, it is a Scorpion branded product so everything went smoothly. I was done from start to finish in less than a minute. I think opening the box and removing the protective shrink wrap took longer than actually replacing the display. Obviously they are expensive. But I wrote this after installing it in case anyone else has the same problems as me. BTW, most of the scratches on my visor are due to polishing it with a rag and RainX without making sure the visor is clean. Any dirt on the visor or a rag will rub all over the visor and scratch it. It doesn't seem to take a lot of dirt to do this. I was able to fit this new one after some effort, but once everything snapped into place the visor was difficult to open and close. So
