🦂 Scorpion R420 Distiller Helmet (Small) - Black/RED Review

Very similar in color and fit. The white/silver color is ideal for lowering the temperature and keeping the head cool compared to darker helmets.

The helmet fits true to size, has a fairly good noise level and noise reduction which is a plus. It's also fairly light compared to some other Bell helmets I've had.

I crashed my bike at 60mph hit my head on the road a few times then got up and left, if I didn't have that I would be then no longer here There are a few scratches on the helmet. it saved my life

The helmet looks good and feels very light, but strong wind noise and windy freeways make me feel like I'm training my neck muscles to keep my head forward and still more work if i have a passenger. Believe me, the aerodynamics were poorly transmitted.

Fit is great. The exit is fair. comfort is good. There seems to be enough room in the chin bar for the heads-up radar receiver and communications microphone. Excellent head ventilation. But alas, Scorpion still offers the worst tinted face shields in the world! NOT optically transparent! If you just want a clear face mask this is a great buy.

Excellent helmet at an affordable price. It's Snell certified, not just DOT. It's the perfect size and style. I love that it has tabs to remove the emergency airbag for EMS. The ventilation isn't the best, but it's not the worst either. It has decent airflow, not much. A built-in flip-up visor would be nice, but replacement shields cost almost $50 each, which I think is way too much. It only comes with a clear shield which I never use except at night. Helmet looks good; I love the color and shape. The visor seals really well and the ventilation keeps it cool. There is good value for money. Probably the best helmet under $200. This is where the pros stop, however. It's very noisy, especially on the sides (wide helmet) and under and around the chin. The quality leaves a lot to be desired. I am 6ft 2cm and weigh 230 pounds. My head size was just on the top end of the large size at 23 inches and as you have been told I bought the large size to fit the top of my head circumference. .
