I'm a big fan of Scosche magnetic holders but this one is non-magnetic and unnecessary. It doesn't stay in the vents - we have a Toyota Highlander - and the phone slides all the time. So this kind of holder just doesn't work.

I have a solid case, the magnets don't work. Very stable fan mount for large and small types, fans and phones. Ford Flex. Something is everywhere. Glue and suction cup will not stick to dashboard. It fits in the perfect spot. Works better than other more expensive holders.

I bought a more expensive telescope model first - but it didn't stay on the dashboard. I bought my wife the lowest version of this model without the gooseneck but it seems to work great so I flipped the $25 item and got this item for a lot less and it works perfectly.

Very nice thing but for some reason the glue started to flow like it's melting or something. Maybe I got a broken one because it looks pretty good and looks like good quality. Also, it doesn't stay on when you're driving on dirt roads, it keeps going off and the connection toggles on and off.

I do not like the versions that are mounted on the air vents. Also, these guys are hard to move. Scosche is perfect for a lighter. The short neck is strong. Enough height not to interfere with driving. Best of all, the phone can be charged via the USB port. If I needed one, I would buy another.

Suction cup works great for regular scosche quality but the small phone ledge is not big enough to hold a large phone (not deep). enough). The phone will vibrate outside the mount while driving; should return. Scosche's 4-in-1 style with grips that rotate to hold your phone is a much better design.

I really liked the magnetic phone holder from Scosche, but unfortunately it never stuck to the dashboard and fell off even when buying a second one. So I got this one and it works great. Holds my phone securely - iPhone 8 Plus with case and screen protector so not lightweight.
